Welcome to Konya Firini, a hidden gem nestled in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, where the heart of Turkish culinary traditions is alive and well. Located at Eppinghofer Str. 90, this beloved Turkish restaurant has garnered attention for its authentic dishes that are not only flavorful but also remarkably affordable. With dishes like lahmachun and pide at the forefront of its offerings, Konya Firini showcases the rich tapestry of Turkish flavors while maintaining a sense of home-cooked warmth.
Step in, and you're greeted by the humble yet inviting atmosphere. As you take a seat, you're enveloped by the aroma of freshly baked bread combined with the enticing scents of spices and meats. The interior may not be extravagant, but it's definitely practical and cozy, making it the perfect setting to enjoy a hearty meal after a long day. And while the dining space might be limited and parking can pose a challenge, the food is where Konya Firini truly shines.
One standout dish that has earned rave reviews is the lahmachun. Customers like Abdul Mateen describe it as "very very tasty," particularly the small elongated version, which is juicy and perfectly balanced with fats and seasoned ground meat. At just €4, it’s not only satisfying but also a steal, making it a must-try for anyone craving authentic Turkish flavor.
And then there’s the pide. Patrons like Omer Kilic and ahmet bey cingir echo the sentiment that these are some of the best pides available in Germany. With prices ranging from €6 to €8, you’ll find a variety of toppings that will tantalize your taste buds. Each bite promises a combination of crispy crust and generous fillings, crafted to perfection in their stone-wood fired oven. Establishing a personal connection with each dish, you can feel the pride and tradition that goes into its preparation.
For the best experience, be sure to visit before 19:00, as supply can be limited, especially for their high-demand items. A quick call to the restaurant can spare you from disappointment. While the prices are affordable, the rich flavors elevate the dining experience to something truly memorable.
So if you're in the area and craving no-nonsense, delicious Turkish food, look no further than Konya Firini. Here, tradition meets taste in every bite, and you will leave with satisfied cravings and a full belly.

Not like some of the traditional ones in Turkey, but probably one to the best in Germany. Attention! Supply is for some reason limited and you have to visit the store before 19:00 to be able to eat something and before 18:00 to eat the high-demand menus even on a regular weekday :) Best is to call the shop and ask if they still serve. Parking is a challenge, and the space is limited to dine in!

Here is traditional Turkish Bäckerei. Ok there is no bread but the guy cooks Lahmacun and different types of Turkish pizza in the brick oven. Especially Mevlana, Etli Ekmek, Kuşbaşı pide are really delicious. And meat is fresh. Instead of döner laden you should taste Turkish pizza here to know how it is.
